The best price for movies depends on your personal movie-watching habits and interests. We have two recommendations, and you might like a combination of the two.
Movie Recommendation Number One
GO HERE to get the best price on all movies all the time, every day, all day.
Whether you are adding to your DVD collection, looking for a download, or looking to stream it, you will not find a better price for movie in any format than through this site.

Yes, we’re sending you to Amazon, our first recommendation. And why should you come here, just to be sent to Amazon? Here are two good reasons:
- First, you’re already here, and clicking this link is faster than typing in another address.
- Second, when you go through my site, Amazon will sometimes pay me a small commission, at no additional cost to you. Support a grandmother!

Movies Plus the Extras
Do you have a favorite actor or movie series? Are you a Star Wars fan? This site has everything Star Wars, and more than just the movies, but access to gear, clothing, posters and anything else Star Wars related. Are you into Harrison Ford movies? (While there are a lot of them, it never seems enough. That actor is amazing, and to think he came from a start as Han Solo in Star Wars, a movie critics expected to be a dud).
When the Star Wars movie premiered, they didn’t have any souvenir goodies for sale, not even a T-shirt. It wasn’t long, however, that anything looking like a light saber was literally running off the store shelves.
Most movies these days have toys, shirts, and items of interest on the shelves months before the actual release now.
So many movies, from all eras and genres may be forgotten, until you browse the largest online library – See it here! Find again those moves worth seeing again and again–classic books turned into silver screen, vintage and always thrilling Hitchcock suspense, romantic comedies and musicals, James Bond adventures, laughs with the Marx Brothers. You can settle in for an evening of Harry Potter with your own Hogwarts robe and your own wand. This site can give you the complete experience.
Recommendation Number Two
If your movie-watching is more casual or if you like variety and no repetition, our recommendation is a subscription to Netflix. With a monthly subscription of one low fee (The first month is a free trial), you could watch movies 24/7–classics, current showings, documentaries–all the variety you could wish for. You can also play Netflix movies on practically any device, even on your phone.
Our Choice? The Best Is Both
We’ve chosen both! We rely on Amazon for the best prices and all the trimmings, especially for those movies we know we’ll watch more than once. Our Harry Potter collection probably works out to a few pennies each, considering how many times we’ve watched them. That’s true for some other favorites, like NCIS or The Big Bang Theory.
But for those one-shot viewings, like Pacific Rim (I needed to know what the grandchildren were interested in, but once was enough for me!), Netflix offers an economical option.
